hyphenation by hand or buy customized desktop publishing software. Now, Dashes
Pro™ does it automatically for you.
It is the only multilingual hyphenation application for the Macintosh! It is
fully AppleScript compatible. It has an extensive Apple event dictionary and it
is recordable.
Compatibility
Dashes Pro™ supports RTF, Quark Tag, StyleEdit, and plain text formats. Use it
with Microsoft Word, PageMaker, QuarkXPress, or any application that supports
discretionary hyphenation.

It’s accurate!
In all of the languages offered, Dashes Pro™ is over 99.9% accurate against our
word lists of 92,000 to 480,000 words. According to these lists, it inserts
over 98.5% of the acceptable hyphens. Proper nouns and other unusual words can
be entered into a user exception dictionary. Dashes™ also features an algorithm
that breaks compound words in the Germanic languages. Dashes™ supports new
German and Dutch orthography rules!
